About

Political analyst slash humanitarian relief worker wandering the Sudan.

A candid look at the industry of international development, politics of peacekeeping and the inexcusable infractions of a 20-something year-old kid left to wander a warzone armed with a Land Cruiser, a cool walkie-talkie and half a clue.

Between bullets and booze, trying to understand the Arab and the African that found themselves at the confluence of the Blue and White Nile and today are Sudanese, north and south.  Extrapolating on the language, events, movements and moments of everyday experience to interpret the jallabas, janubis and khawagas of my life.
